Join us on March 27, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM for the second session in the Data and the City series at FARI. This workshop, held in the immersive FARI CAVE (Computer Augmented Virtual Environment) will explore the role of digital twins in transforming urban governance.
Digital twins, virtual replicas of our cities, are transforming urban management by enabling advanced simulation and analysis. Increasingly used, these powerful tools could redefine the way decisions are made about the future of our cities. But under what conditions?
This session invites you to explore the challenges posed by these technologies: can they reinforce technocratic governance and distance citizens from decision-making processes, or on the contrary offer an opportunity to create more inclusive and participatory urban planning? Together, we will discuss the implications of this digital revolution for urban democracy and imagine how we can reinvent our relationship with the cities of tomorrow.
