Brice Petit is a PhD candidate at FARI Institute and at the Institut de Recherches Interdisciplinaires et de Développements en Intelligence Artificelle (IRIDIA) of the École Polytechnique de Bruxelles. Mr. Petit holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. During his studies, he studied artificial intelligence, algorithms, and mathematics. Mr. Petit is interested in various fields such as deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning, and big data. In addition to these practical interests, important topics such as climate change, energy, health, and wellbeing are one of great importance to him.  Mr. Petit’s PhD thesis is based on Voisins d’Énergie, a co-created research project evaluating the flexibility of the electricity demand at the level of energy communities. His PhD thesis focuses on the study of interactions between social practices, electricity demand patterns, and photovoltaic production.
