Maxime Bollengier is a PhD candidate at the Electronics and Informatics (ETRO) department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium. He received an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in information and communication technology systems from the Brussels Faculty of Engineering (Bruface), a joint initiative between Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Mr. Bollengier collaborates with the VUB university hospital (UZ Brussel), with whom he develops artificial intelligence-based models for patient prognosis and personalized care. In addition to his enthusiasm for AI-based innovation, he is also passionate about entrepreneurship and intends to devote his energies to developing technologies that serve the common good.
