Andres Cotorruelo received his M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Seville (Spain) in 2017 and his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences and Technology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). He is currently working as a Senior Researcher for FARI.
During his PhD, he worked on “Optimization-free Control of Nonlinear Systems subject to Constraints“, where he developed computationally lightweight techniques to control various families of systems while respecting a series of constraints. He also worked on a project called, “Guaranteed by Optimization“, which aimed provide theoretical guarantees to robotic systems whose control policies have been automatically generated.
