Hélène Plisnier is a post-doc researcher at the VUB-Artificial Intelligence lab, under the supervision of Ann Nowé. Her research domain is Reinforcement Learning, with a focus on how humans/users can help RL agents learn faster to perform a task.

She obtained an FWO grant for strategic basic research, starting in January 2019.

In April 2023, she defended her PhD thesis titled “Guiding the Exploration Strategy of a Reinforcement Learning Agent”
